DR JAY
I tried to document this project On The Workbench as I went. I just finished it the other day--with the exception of the door and trunk locks. I realize that the 62 Dart was NOT dodge's finest hour in the design studio, but I have always loved the way that the 413 Max Wedge was wrapped in such a homely package that year...if a station wagon would have been available in 1/25, I would have built that instead and chosen an even more bland colour. Thanks for looking..
Renegade
Very cool. Great detail.
Xingu
That would be such a street sleeper. Did they come in a lighter shade of blue that year?
GMCMAN52
that thing is just to nice...................great job

High octane
Very nice job on that '62 Dart Jason as I just love dem Mopars! That '62 looks a lot better than the 61's did. I can't stand the looks of the '61 Dodge or Plymouth, of course to each their own.
slusher
Super sweet Mopar...
bbowser
Really nice model. The first guy in our class to get his license had a '63 Dart, slant-six pushbutton gears, faded turquoise not far from this color, a whole lot of us learned to drive in that beast. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
6bblbird
Amazing job! That Johan has a great body but a promo style chassis with poor detail. You did a great job fixing that! What chassis did you adapt to that Mopar?WF
Mercelo
A beautiful rendition, of a homely car for sure. You did a nice job though, and under the hood is looking most excellent.
Ace-Garageguy
Very nice, all of it. The wheels are sunk into the tires perfectly to avoid the toy look so many models get, and I really like those open header caps. Nice touches.
Harry P.
Very impressive in every respect. Clean build, great detail. Nice!
Sixties Sam
That is a really well done model! Great details on the chassis and under the hood! Superb work! I did one similar a while back, converting the hardtop into a base sedan sleeper with a 413, but yours is much nicer!Sam
moparfarmer
When that car left my stash I didn't think it would turn out like this..Excellent,Excellent,Excellent..Very well done and super clean..Now you got to get going on the Plymouth.. moparfarmer
The body work is super straight..When you look at the reflection of the white on each side, the line is straight..Super body finessing Jay..Paint and polish sure set it above the rest.. Ron Hamilton
That one is a masterwork!!!! If it was not for the slicks, I would bet the farm a slant 6 lived under that hood. My kind of sleeper.
berr13
Very sharp! Like Harry, I like the header caps, especially the one bolt keeping 'em on and out of the way...that's a really nice touch!
