junkyardjeff
I am finishing up the restoration of the MPC late 70s Chevy p/u stepside and would like to paint the motor the color it would have been from the factory, were they kind of a dull blue. junkyardjeff
All I could find was a bottle of Ford/GM blue which is too dark so I am going to use Chrysler blue since its closer.

junkyardjeff
I did not want to go to the parts store and buy a can of engine enamel since it would be another can of paint only used one time taking up space on the shelves. The Chrysler paint looks close enough for me.
The70judgeman
I've used Testors AMC Big Bad Blue lacquer spray. It passes pretty well.
