There is no way to repair this and have it unnoticeable without repainting. But ask yourself what is the plan for this model? Is it a shelf model, destined to live out it's life in a case? Then glue the joint as carefully as possible and finish it up. Is it a gift for someone or something you wanted to take to contest? Then you gotta fix it right.

Glue it back together, mask off the back section and blow in the paint, you can also cover up where you burned through when you were polishing or wet sanding. Then wet sand the area fading out the blown in area. No need to repaint the entire body.

If you go this rout you will have to clean off any wax/polish you have already applied to the area that will be painted.

If that's the only damage to it, I would use a few drops of cyano (Super) glue, then sand the exterior smooth, then mask up to the seal lines on the rear wings and just blow in that small part.
