Jon Cole
Progress is always slow due to personal health issues, so it just felt so good to finally sit down, and start the masking process for the wood. I have to paint outside, in a dirt driveway. And yet, I was able to luck out. Nice, clean spray. Almost perfect day for outdoor spraying. slusher
Jon, I have the same problem and mine is MS fatigue and weakness. I have one of these to build and will follow along. Hang in there...
CometMan
That is a really nice kit, Jon, everything goes together very well. Also, if you mix-and-match some of the parts from the AMT coupe you can come up with a very nicely detailed stock woody with some of the extra accessories! Good luck with yours, will be watching your progress.
charlie8575
It was a nice day, that's for sure. After sunrise is supposed to be nice, too. I try to avoid outside, so I open the cellar door, and squirted a little touch-up on my '32 Ford. That might be done before month's end.Charlie Larkin
espo
Nice build so far. I really enjoyed building one of these almost box stock and with just a few little personal touches they really are great.
misterNNL
There were so many beautiful wood sided cars in this era,It's shame so few have been offered in kit form. The latest is the Galaxie '47 Chevy series that has the optional Sportsman wooden side panels available. In 1947 those were a dealer installed option.Hope this styrene diversion will offer some respite from whatever your personal health challanges are. Thanks for sharing.
