Aaron_F
Here's my '48 Ford coupe, built in 2012. The paint is Testors One Coat Mythical Maroon with three coats of clear, wet sanded and polished. Enjoy the pics!

Dennis Lacy
For a straight out of the box model, this is about as nice as it gets! Beautiful early custom.
Harry P.
Do you always paint the chassis components red and the mufflers blue?
Intmd8r
I like it. The '48 Ford never looked so good
Dennis Lacy
Do you always paint the chassis components red and the mufflers blue? The mufflers in these Revell flathead-motored kits are representative of Smithy glass packs which have always come painted hammertone blue since the 40's. Definitely a correct traditional hot rod detail.

Jantrix
Very nicely done. Folks are real divided on that top chop but it sure builds up nice.
Aaron_F
Do you always paint the chassis components red and the mufflers blue?Currently I only have two finished models with red suspension and blue mufflers, but you might see more in the future. Hahahahaha!
Perspective Customs
Nicely done. The color, hubcaps, interior are all very cool. But I'm also one that thinks a chopped top on a '48 Ford is an improvement.

Greg Myers
Currently I only have two finished models with red suspension and blue mufflers, but you might see more in the future. Hahahahaha! Nothin' wrong with that on quite a few counts.

Mercelo
That's a beautiful build, super clean all around. The color suits it well, and the paint job looks outstanding! Nicely done...
Ace-Garageguy
Very nice. I think Revell did a better job on the chop on this one than they did on the '49 Merc. Anyway, beautiful model. Maroon is, to me, one of the two best colors for the '48 Ford, whether standard or custom. Great paint, fine work overall. I'd be proud to have my name on that one.
