Gt fan Posted May 23, 2016 It was a rainy day in the philly area today , so a good day to finish a build. The is the round two version of the BMW gt3. A fun kit to build if you like decals. The decals are a bit thick for my taste. The do lay down with a bunch of setting solution . The car has slight weathering as I like to build post race. The interior is done as well, but I forgot to take a picture before the lid went on.

droogie Posted May 23, 2016 Nice work on the decals. Which kit is this?
Gt fan Posted May 23, 2016 It's the Fujimi kit. It's the version of the 2014 car. Hobby link japan has a great magazine with full detail photos of the car. It's worth owning if you build race cars. Great detail shots.

maltsr Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) Great job on the decals. I've built the earlier version, the decals are a little thick, but at least they are strong and survive the trauma of getting them to lay down nice and smooth . PatW Posted May 23, 2016 Yes fantastic work on the decals on this BMW Z4 GT3. I built an earlier model from Fujimi that just had the BMW logo's and body stripes, nice kit.

Gt fan Posted May 24, 2016 Thanks guys... I like post race versions . The Tamiya weathering kits work very well. They build up nice and if you make a mistake clean up is quick.
