crazyjim
I completed this '66 Chevy El Camino yesterday that was painted with HOK platinum pearl. I applied the flames that came with the kit and cleared over everything. Wheels/tires are from the 1963 Avanti kit. Aluminum tubing was used for exhaust pipes after the kit styrene was straightened. Rustoluem texture paint was used in the box.

Aggie
Super job in the engine detail. If i may ask what did you use for the throttle spring? The alternator bracket is a great addition. Paint looks good. Well done!

Harry P.
Not a fan of the flames–the car would have looked a lot cleaner without them. But man oh man, your engine compartment is bee-yoo-tiful! Very nice work.
MrObsessive
Very, VERY nice Jim! Super-duper clean just the way I like 'em! As far as the master cylinder, that looks like a molded on hold down bracket and not a mold line as was mentioned. And yes, I echo what Harry said-------that engine bay is extra nice and tidy! crazyjim
Thanks fellas. Ed, what you see as a seam was the bracket keeping the brake reservoir closed.Shane - the throttle spring is 30ga wire from Radio shack with the insulation stripped off and wound around a drill bit.Alternator bracket is a Detailmaster PE part.
