Cpt Tuttle
We have a van group build on a swedish forum, and I'm starting with this.Started with cutting out for some skylights, the fun part of a van build is the interior, and what is it worth if you can't see it? Cpt Tuttle
A bed is a no-brainer in a shagwagon like this, so I took one from an Italeri Scania and cut it down, and covered it in black velvet. If it's rockin', don't come knockin'! My first idea was to put a complete Camaro RS grille on it, but it was too tiny to look good on the big van, so I just took the headlamp doors, and I quite like it. Planning to use Mustang taillights, rotated 90 degrees, to get a similar look in the back.

Cpt Tuttle
This boombox will serve as a barrier between the rear compartment and the drivers compartment, also I will mount a small foldable table on it, with cupholders. The seats will be mounted like this, just a little bit higher (would probably swivel in 1:1 scale). Privacy is of course important.... The rod is for a drapery that will be installed later. disabled modeler
Neat project...someday Id like to find a early 70s Dodge one to make a replica of one I owned once.
gatorincebu
Really cool looking interior. Reminds me of my old chevy van. Be Well Gator
Cpt Tuttle
Wood paneling and a downscaled copy of a 70s velvet wallpaper.....Also I gave it a name now.... "Astral Dream". I guess a custom van needs some kind of psychedelic-new-age-name.
