This is the second one of these kits I've built. The first was for a friend but this one's mine. Tried to use a set of Keith Marks decals but it was way beyond my skills to get them to work so I used the kit decals with a couple of "6.6L" decals & "Trans Am" decal from the Keith Marks set. I wired the engine & scratch built a CB antenna from guitar string.

Looks nice, very nice paint, and the dash is very well done. Nice hat, and CB antenna. From the look of the great job of the kit decals it would appear you have the skills for the after market decals.

Nice build. The hat's a nice touch. I think that movie got a lot of those Firechickens sold too.

You make the hat out of clay? Good looking model

The hat comes with the Revell kit. It's painted with Model Masters Fabric Tan spray paint.

I picked up this kit with the intentions of building a pro touring car with white lighting paint and Renee's20bird decals but now that I see this build I'm thinking of a movie car replica. It looks like it builds up nicely. It's a fantastic job on a Iconic Pontiac muscle car. Heres a pic of my original plan for this trans-am.
