Tyler62990 Posted September 1, 2016 This is my take on the Moebius 53 Hudson. This kit is an absolute joy to build and yielded me my favorite completed build to date. Well I'm not going to bore anyone, so I'll just get down to the specifics. Lowered Suspension Desoto grill from the Revell Merc kit. Engine detailed with computer wire, solder and Kanthal wire. Finned head from MAD Modelling Testors White Lightning Lacquer over Tamiya white primer. Testor's Purple-licious and Diamond Dust Lacquers; Duplicolor Purple MetalCast for roof. All topped with Testors Wet Look Clear. Club plaques and PA Classic plate are reduced images from Google Firestone decals left over from Monogram 55 Chevy Convertible Thanks for looking! espo Posted September 2, 2016 Great looking custom. I like how you did the roof. The grill looks almost OEM if you didn't know better.

Bernard Kron Posted September 20, 2016 Everything else is so impeccably turned out on this model that the lace roof paint is almost (but not quite) superfluous. Great colors and details throughout and super stance. The Firestone detail on the whitewalls is the final touch. Bravo!

W-409 Posted October 11, 2016 That's a really nice looking Hudson! I like the colors on it a lot, but what really caught my eyes right away was that DeSoto grill! A brilliant idea that I'll have to steal for some of my projects too... Also I like the hop up parts on that engine. Overall a very tasty Custom. Harry P. Posted October 11, 2016 Beautifully done. Like the grille, love the paint and the overall level of detail. The only "fly in the ointment" are the too-black panel lines. But other than that, spctacular!
