Well since I got the camaro finished I figured I might as well get started on the next one . This build will be using the match racer firebird. Id like to put more detail into this one than the last so ill be trying some new things. I got the body painted to see how I liked the color and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Here's a teaser pic of things to come

Well I made a little bit of progress today. Got most of the front end together and got a mock up of how the motor is gonna look. I also got the rear end in though I might end up taking it out to add a little more detail

Did a little work on the trans am today.  I was able to get some wiring done for the msd box and computer as well as get the battery in and the fuel pump plumbed and wired. Thanks for looking!

Awesome start! Looks killer. What did you use for your wire?? The smaller stuff looks like 30awg Kynar? What did you use for the battery cables?

Thanks for the compliments guys! It's very much appreciated. You are correct on the 30 gauge Kynar wire. The battery cables are made with the individual wires stripped out of a cat 5 cable. Easy to get your hands on wire as an electrician.

Here's a quick mock up of how it's gonna look

  • 2 weeks later...

Well I was finally able to get some work done this week. I got the engine detailed which took a lot longer than i had anticipated. It didnt fit great in the frame but with some minor massaging i was finally able to get it in. On the home stretch now
