Dieselhead
I'm hoping this is the right board. Do you know if anyone makes a (preferably 1/24 or 1/25 scale) kit of the 5 Ton army trucks, also know as the M939 family? I have a soft spot for these trucks and would love to build one. Thanks! Jim B
The only M939 5-ton that I know of is the 1/35 Italeri M923 kit. There are some 1/35 resin conversion kits available, too, but they are VERY expensive.http://realmodel.cz/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=11&Itemid=79%2Findex.php%3Foption&page=shop.browse&category_id=12&Itemid=79%2Findex.php%3Foption&page=shop.browse&category_id=14&Itemid=79&vmcchk=1&Itemid=79http://www.realmodel.cz/shop/index.phpGood luck with your project. Ace-Garageguy
One of its WW II predecessors is occasionally available in a 1/24 resin kit... And there's a later M35 in paper, 1/25... There is also an M925 3D model that some enterprising young man could doubtless convert to STL files and have it 3D-printed... http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/army-m925-desert-3d-model/765171 Edited November 16, 2016 by Ace-Garageguy
