dptydawg
This is the conversion of a Revell toy Cat Grader into a Scale model. Revell had a series of plastic Cat toys back in the 50's. This grader was probably 1/27th scale bit its close enough to pass as a 1/25. It is actually a bit of a No.10 and No.11 Cat Auto Patrol grader. Not strictly accurate but close enough for me.This is what I started with This is what the conversion looks like The rear wheels and tires are from a Hot Wheels monster truck. The transaxle is a modified part of the Hot Wheels chassis. The front tires are from a Paystar kit. The jack shafts, front axle, cab and controls are all scratch built. I made my own decals using MS word and Testors decal paper. Eric the operator is a modified resin figure from the world of G-scale trains. I'm not sure of his ancestry. Some time in the future I may build a roadbed diorama for it. Thanks for looking Carl

dptydawg
Thanks Guys for all the kind words. I enjoy building these sort of projects. Besides being a bit of a challenge and a change of pace, they are a good way to reduce inventory in the parts box.Carl
