burlllee
Is anybody casting a 60's Dodge pickup? I have the 60's A100, but I'd like to have a standard body style. Thanks, Earl
george 53
Burl,I'm pretty sure SELtd.Has a mid 60's pickup in their "special Projects" section.I think I'ts about a 65/66 3/4 or 1 ton pickup. You don't see too many early Dodge pick-ups, that probably the only reason I remembered it! burlllee
Thanks George. I went to their website, they have a '58 Dodge p/u and it looks like a half ton pickup? It comes with two beds and can be built as a sweepside or stepside. It really looks good in the pics but it is a little pricey, $99.95. Thanks again, Earl
Aaronw
Thanks George. I went to their website, they have a '58 Dodge p/u and it looks like a half ton pickup? Thanks again, Earl The price is a bit steap, but it is very nice. I bought one a couple years back, it is nicely detailed, includes PE emblems to make a 2wd or a power wagon, also Dodge or a Canadian Fargo version. It was a very clean casting in white resin. You can save a little money if you want a stepside, just order it without a bed. I've been told the bed used on the 70's LRE kit was the same bed used back to the 50's. It shouldn't be hard to come up with the bed from the LRE since that kit was so common. It might have been a goof but mine came with both the sweptside and the stepside beds. There was a resin '66 Dodge a while back but I've had no luck contacting the caster in the past 6-8 months.
