TAT 2017 1/32 Mack RS700 Rubber Duck

Recommended Posts

Man, this ought to look good with those.....They look alright to me, anyway.....Nice work on that sleeper and hood, as well....

Cheers mate. I would really love to get this one done by the start of March as I'm back into studies again. It's going better than I thought it would.

image.thumb.jpeg.397f9ae20212961be57f7daResearching this project, I found that the chassis rails in the western series of  Mack trucks varied to the usual r series chassi rails. It turns out they were straight rails on the RS700L. This is great news for me as making a whole chassis should be easier than altering the snap tight chassis. Cheers

Hi fellas, I'm still doing this build. I've also started working on the trailer. The 2 hole bud wheels for the prime mover have been giving me trouble. They're too big and don't look right, so I'm working on modifying the kit rims and using auslowe 1/32 wheels to make the wheels. Cheers.

How's this project doing Ben?  I built one of these recently as a Rubber Duck also but with the regular hood and sleeper.

Still struggling along. I'm going to try and get the 2 hole wheels moulded up these lot of days off. I had the wrong mould release and have finally worked out why my 2 piece mould were not working.
