Funkychiken
Hi, please can anyone let me know if it's easy to use touch up 1 to 1 paint through an airbrush. This is the link http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/SCRATCH-REPAIR-Touch-up-Paint-for-a-BMW-Boston-Metallic-Green-275-/390640981045?nav=SEARCHI have an iwata airbrush with a 0.5 mm nozzle. My worry is that the flakes are too big and will get stuck.I'm also guessing that I'll have to thin it down with laquer thinner. Cheers!
Mike Chernecki
Rather than worrying about thinning the paint for you airbrush and the fact the flakesize may be too large and out of scale. Just order your paint pre-thinned from Zero paints. You may be able to request a color not listed in tjeir catalog, not sure they do custom mixing. I have requested colors in the past and the added to their catalog. I use an Iwata HP-C Plus with 0.3 nozzle with no issuea,so you 0.5 should be no problem. GeeBee
Yes, you can use it with out any problems, you will need to thin it, and possibly clear coat over it after it's dried.

Snake45
Don't forget, you might well also need to prime your plastic with a primer that can stand up to "hot" paints. If not sure, run a test on sprue or the underside of an interior tub or something of the sort.
Funkychiken
Thanks all, I'll try zero first, if I can't did the colour, i'll go for the touch up paint!

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately Lechner only goes back to 1996 for BMWs, so Boston Green isn't listed...Looks like i'll have to go with touch up paint from ebay... GeeBee
I usually get my paint mixed here, https://www.paints4u.comI've just checked, and they list BMW paints going back to the 70's,
dublin boy
Halfords have, or at least had Boston Green in rattle cans. You can decant that and use it without thinning if they still have it.
