jsc Posted January 18, 2017 Share Posted January 18, 2017 Help! I'm trying to finish up Revell's '68 Dodge Charger R/T "special edition", but the front stance is too high. Johnt671 Posted January 18, 2017 Share Posted January 18, 2017 I have a thread in the workbench on this kit, but I'm not that far along yet. I did notice that the interior floor is slightly warped,, tilting up on the drivers side front corner. I just did a restoe on an old Cobra model that sat too high in the rear. I had to file some of the attachment points at the back of the interior to get a more realistic stance. I think Snake45 has a point also, as I don't remember these cars sitting real low. Greg Myers Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 On the real 1:1 cars there is an adjusting feature on the end of the torsion bar. Back in the day this made it very easy to adjust the ride height either up or down, degrading the ride quality however, higher up, stiffer ride.
