408calirides
So I'm in the middle of trying to start a little small hobby shop business, i'm looking into selling some of the accessories like detail master and model car garage and so on. I'd also like to sell revell and AMT kits but I hear right now revell has a minimum order of $5000 ? Does anyone know if this is correct also if anyone can help me or guide me to somewhere I can purchase model kits in bulk cases that would be appreciative too. Please any info would be a big help in the model kits, thanks
Mark
You will have to go through a wholesaler to get kits. You'll pay more, but you will be able to order the items you want, when you want them. Neither of the two shops in my area deal directly with the manufacturers. Some aftermarket items can be bought directly from the companies making them. I believe Model Car Garage has an area on their website where you can apply to purchase their products for resale. Most of the guys doing casting or decals on the side will probably not offer a special deal to hobby shops as most of them can sell everything they can make without doing so. 426-Hemi
Best advise? is contact ALL the companies. Revell, as well as Round 2, and then contact the detail companies you mentioned like Detail Masters, and so on and so forth. you may even wanna contact Testors for paint and their supplies too.....Good luck!
