Rocking Rodney Rat
Here's a recent buildup of the (now gone?) Revell Model A Coupe kit. I flattened the front crossmember to get it out of the stratosphere. The engine is the Revell part pack Caddy. A few other mods here and there. Del Austin
Great looking Model A. Where did you get the tires & wheels? I robbed the ones from my 30 kit for a build I am doing for my dad and need suitable replacements. Rocking Rodney Rat
Great looking Model A. Where did you get the tires & wheels? I robbed the ones from my 30 kit for a build I am doing for my dad and need suitable replacements. The front wheels and tires are from Revell (available in several kits, '48 Ford, '40 Ford, '32 Five window coupe etc.) The rear tires are from the Monogram 1941 Lincoln with the steel wheel put together from the Lincoln kit outer rim with the inner rim from the Revell kits. See pix here on how to make those rear wheels: http://public.fotki.com/jferren/tall-rear-tire-with/ -RRR

tim boyd
Tasty, tasty baste! Excellent wheel and tire choice, too - and that early OHV Caddy just sings in the engine compartment! TIM Edited March 6, 2017 by tim boyd
