I think you made the right choice of wheels. They look much better than the dog dishes.

I really like the way the trunk turned out, btw.

Did you decide against the beehive filter or just removed it while you worked on the body mods?

Thanks! The mag wheels look even better now that the front ones are stripped.

Didn't ditch the beehive, just didn't bother with it on these mock ups.

I did the same wheel arch trick with the 29 I'm working on. Yours came out great! I especially like the half round bead around the wheel arch. I may have to steal that!

Thanks, I got the idea from you! Just so you know, 29's didn't have a bead around the wheel arch but that doesn't mean you can't add it if you want.

I'm gonna steal that trick when I get around to building my 30 coupe. I made the mistake of only buying one kit and now its like the Holy Grail of kits.

really nice build- did you say the base kit isn't available anymore?

I had a discussion with Ed Sexton at NNL East this past April. He indicated that Revell's '30 Ford coupe would be returning to the lineup at some future date. I would venture a guess that it might be some time next year. If you can wait don't go for those exhorbitant auction prices. The kit will be back..
