Tommy Isbister Posted April 18, 2017 Author Share Posted April 18, 2017 I used the complete AMT 58 Impala kit including the chassis. Cage, wheels and tires are from an old Bill Elliott #9 Thunderbird kit and it fits perfect. Engine is the original 409 that came with the Impala. These Impala's come from the factory pre scored on the inside of the rear wheel quarters so trimming the wheel wells out are a breeze. The only other heavy mod is trimming the cage in the rear and on the front corners underneath the windshield pillars. I spent more time with the paint, decals and chrome than anything else.
