curt raitz
This is another build of a Curtis Turner race car. I decided awhile back to build models of cars Curtis Turner raced. No other reason than the fact he has a cool first name I can relate to. I think this is the 4th or 5th Curtis Turner model I've built. This a model of the 1956 Ford he raced during the 1956 NASCAR Season. He started 13 races, winning at Darlington and 4 more races with top 10 finishes. Paint is MM Classic White and ScaleFinishes Ford M Regency Purple. Decals are from Gofer Racing. Thanx for lookin'

John Goschke
Man, that is cool! I don't know much about NASCAR but I love the aggressive look this has with the wide wheels and tires and killer stance! Plus the fact that it's a "Customline" hardtop rather than a Fairlane, along with that color combo, adds to the coolness quotient!
