curt raitz
This is a 1/20th scale resin model of the Toleman TG183B produced by ClubM. I built the car to represent the car as it was raced by Ayrton Senna during the 1984 Grand Prix Season. This car was Ayrton's first F1 ride. He drove this car in the first three races and DNQ'ed on the fourth race. The TG183 was replaced by the TG184 for the 5th race. This is a fairly old kit and a few of the resin parts were "warped"...tried to get them straight. Paint is MM Classic White, Tamiya TS-15 Blue and Humbrol Italian Red #220. thanx for lookin'

Draggon
Nice work Curt, one of my favorite F1's because of Senna, and the unusual approach to downforce Byrne took.
tmathew1us
Awesome job! I didn't even know this kit was out there, must be very rare. Was this the car Senna drove in the rain in Monte Carlo to almost catch Prost, who was begging for the race to be called off? bbowser
Great model. Very unusual aero package, in the days before the rules mandated they all look the same.
