crowe-t
Does anyone make Pro Stock wheels in 1/24-1/25 scale? I'm looking for the wheels that are on Bo Butner's Pro Stock Camaro. The rear wheels are Weld Delta-1 but I can't figure out what make the front wheels are. Edited April 29, 2017 by crowe-t

Force
The rear wheels are Weld Racing Delta 1 as you said and the fronts are Weld Racing Aluma Star as Dave says, but I don't know if anyone does them in 1:24-25 scale right now. comp1839
try googling "slot car wheels". a company called pro trac makes a very convincing looking aluma star copy. there are many other companies too. since i don't deal with 1/24 or 1/25 i can't speak to there quality. at least you have a lead to go on now. Force
The Pro Track Corp. Pro Star front wheels are "close but no cigar" as they have lug nut holes and no center spindle cover, so I don't think anyone does this particular style of the Aluma Star wheel.I believe Micro Nitro who did very nice turned aluminum wheels used to do a wheel that looked like the Delta 1, but I don't know the status of that company right now...I can't find their website anymore, they have a facebooksite but I don't know how it's maintained nowadays. crowe-t
Thanks guys! After I posted this I found the name of the front wheels. The Pro Track wheels are close but not spindle mount. JDS makes fronts but the wheels are about 2 mm too large in diameter.3D Model Specialties makes the Delta 1 that are 3D printed. The new owner of Micro Nitro has been posting and said he's getting up to speed and to send him a PM to let him know what is needed. They have the Weld Delta 1 and Aluma Star fronts offered as a set and are made for regular models. If he can't make them then I'll get the Delta 1's from 3D Model Specialties(Shapeways) and I'll have to make the JDS wheels work. futurattraction
Michael - I am planning to come out with some machined aluminum wheels within the next few weeks. I will have the AlumaStar fronts at that point. They will fit the R-M-based tires and, of course, the frontrunner tires I sell. I am planning to introduce three front wheel designs and four rear wheels. The rears will be 1/24th scale. They will be CNC'd rims with photo-etched aluminum centers. The fronts will all be spindle-mount design/appearance. The rims are slated to be in production in the next 2-3 weeks and I'm finishing drawing the centers then they will be submitted for tooling and production. The front choices are going to be Weld Magnum 2.0, Weld AlumaStar 2.0 and Billet Specialties Comp 5. The rears will be Magnum 2.0, AlumaStar 2.0, Weld V-Series, and BS Comp 5. crowe-t
Scott, I'll keep a look out on your web site. However I still need the Weld Delta 1 rears. I should be able to get the set of 4 from Micro Nitro but if I can't I'll contact you.
