Fruehauf Dump Trailer

This is the last kit in my stash that hadn't been started, AMT/Ertl re-issue from 2001. The tandem suspension and wheels were kit bashed from the AMT Fruehauf Flatbed, outboard mounted landing gear with braces and sand shoes, scratchbuilt fenders and mudflap hangers, Meng bolt heads and nuts added for extra detail, scratchbuilt flip tarp and a few other extras.

A few chassis only shots, without the dump box. The plan is for a black chassis with silver tub.

Another nice build Anthony, and apology accepted! (another back handed slap i guess) Really, you were a little quick to take a compliment the wrong way last time. Everything you (or your son) do is top-notch, and I didnt mean it towards your builds, i,for one admire each and every one!  And your right, the 10x20's in the mack reissue are junk, too soft and do not fit the wheels. I didnt say I wouldn't use the 22's, just said  I wasn't crazy about the way they fit either. Again I wasnt bashing you or your builds, sorry you took it that way.

Thanks guys! I was able to get everything primed yesterday, but we got some triple h weather for the next few days so I'm holding off until Saturday to shot the color and clear.

Hello Anthony, what a great looking trailer, what a better looking Big Rig. I really enjoyed your build of the trailer, lots of good hint on how to build and detail it.:)
