This is something I wanted to do since I first saw Ray Fahner's wake wagon,1970?so it's a tribute I guess.started with amt raiders coach,narrowed,shortened,built doors,filled windows,made new windows,set on a revell t frame that was extended front and rear.Everything else is pretty much scratch built,engine is small block ford from revell(detailed)trans is aod also from revell,nine inch ford from amt nascar(modified),this is all plastic with the exception of the grill.questions and comments welcome thanks for looking johnz

John, this is really some terrific work. On top of being well done, it's obvious that there was a great deal of planning and forethought involved. For instance, the cross-member under the tranny was built and detailed to look removable. Obviously, in case someday, they have to drop the pan. Most builders wouldn't have bothered with that, even if they'd thought of it. After all it's just a model. ;) Outstanding.

Something about the appearance of the body really draws you in. Then looking at the engineering of the chassis and the attention to detail really makes this build outstanding.  Except for the driver's position, and that is somewhat part of the theme, it looks like something you would want to drive.
