Slotto
Just finished this '56 Bel Air. This is the first time I've ever opened the doors and trunk on anything. I didn't know what to expect, but I learned a lot. The exterior color is Rustoleum purple and the finish is Future floor wax. The wheels are from the Testors Shezoom car. Slotto
For the power plant, I used the spare HEMI that came in the '68 Charger kit. As you can see, it fits nicely in the spacious engine bay. This finishes out the weekend by wrapping up two from 1956. You can find the build thread on the work bench Thanks for looking. Slotto
I finally got around to the lighting issues I was having. Here's the final pictures She ain't pretty and has many issues. I went all out on this one. After many many struggles I can officially call this one done. HEMI shoehorned in the engine bay, opening hood, doors and trunk, headlights, taillights and dash lights and articulating front wheels. Thanks for looking

70 Sting
Glad you brought this post back from the dead... great job on all the hinges - in particular that funky hood. 😎  I haven't worked up the nerve to try hinging doors and trunks myself.
