disabled modeler
Nice Al....many of those were called Flower cars and they followed the hearse.
BigTallDad
I don't think I've ever seen a blue hearse before...they are generally black.
espo
The only Flower Cars I remember were more like an El Camino style Hearse. They would be open behind the driver and the flowers would be displayed in the bed.

Lizz62
I've seen the blue metallic hearses. My friend drove one in the 80's. This will be sweet. Hearses are always classy in the old days.

Here's an example.http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_38469-Cadillac-Calais-Flower-Car-1970.htmlBTW. this is a great site for researching vehicles shown in movies. A little story. Just before turning 16 and on the look out for a car, any car, there was a used car dealer that sold old ambulances, lemos, and hearses. I saw a couple of old flower cars there and I wanted one in the worst way. These were '47 and '48 year models and the time frame was spring of 1959 in the burb's of Chicago. My getting any car was not in my father's plans anyway and you can imagine what he thought of the Flower Car idea.
