I appreciate the comment and the interest - thanks gentlemen.

Test fit of most of the engine bay.  The final version will have a little more plumbing.

Just stumbled upon this build. Really glad I did. This is a great project. Your WIPs are making it very easy to follow. This is truly a great how-to to build a Trans-Am classic.

Thanks Mike.

Blanked off the tail light panel and fabricated a fuel filler.

Missed a bit of this, fabulous scratch building as always JC.

I still want to see the mk2 though, did you get a new Italeri one?

Thanks Shay.  I still have a few Escorts in the stash so I didn't spring for the latest release.

I understand nothing has changed in the kit except the decals.

Thanks Craig, I'll have my attorney draw up the royalties agreement. :)

Yeah, that's if I can get one of the old R/M AAR's cheap enough. Prices seem kind of high on eBay if I'm only stealing a few parts out of it ;) (and unlikely to ever use the rest of the parts for something else.

Haven't looked at the AAR kit prices, I had mine in the stash for some time.

Fabricated the fuel vent and added a gas cap tether.

None of the kits I have include the rear window louvers.  However you may want to ask this a question to the whole forum.
