It is certainly sitting like it should, but

I don't think the wheel are a great choice

for a gasser. Just my humble opinion ;)

But no matter what, I think it's gonna

look great John!!

You don't see the 37 Chevy done too

often as a gasser.

I think you're right. I have a set of AMT drag gasser wheels that look good. I'll post a picture tomorrow. Thanks for pointing that out. I had to do a little custom work to make them fit.

If you fiddle with the front corner of the body where it meets the rear fender you can get that to fit down pretty nice.   I really like this kit...I need to pick up this new release...besides I always liked the box art on this one

I sure will. Here's were I am. The chassis, interior and motor a almost done. I had to move the tach so the interior would fit, and there's a picture of the B&M shifter that came out nice. I tried to paint the body this morning before the rain, but in a rush I sprayed too heavy and have to do some sanding. It's not supposed to rain tomorrow morning so maybe I can get the body done. If not Sunday is the next nice day. Fingers crossed.

Today's work. I think it will be done tomorrow. It's suppose to rain all day so I should be able to get her done and then pick my next project'

So of the decals that came with the kit ripped apart so I had to change plans a bit.  I'm happy with the results. I think the ones I used make it look like a mid- buck race team ran it.

Looks good. :D

I just picked this kit up yesterday on a whim at HL on clearance. Not a big fan of the stock Chevy, but the gasser on the box just screamed buy me to me. I'm a sucker for 60's style drag cars. Planning on an OOB build, hoping it will work as a slump buster.

Just came across this thread as I don't normally look in this section, but your thread was on the main page so I had to check it out. Good inspiration here. Thanks.

It's done! It took longer than I thought to do the touch ups it needed. I got a dab of glue on the roof and I had to be careful not to mess up the paint. Here's a teaser picture. I'll post more in the Drag Race section. Thanks for looking.
