donb
The AMT 71 Thunderbird is a very simplistic kit but it makes a great curbside. So that's how I built it. Nothing too fancy. Duplicolor Gray Metallic. Duplicolor primer interior. Shave the side marker and Thunderbird emblems. Cleared with Duplicolor Clear and buffed out. Pegasus wheels and lowered slightly. Used customer headlight covers from the kit. Pretty happy with the results. Since being photographed I added drivers side mirror and license plate. Comments welcome. RestoModGuy
Looks real nice. I too built this kit as a simple curbside, just not that nice of a kit to spend a lot of effort doing a detail build.
