6bblbird
This one taxed my patience like few kits have done. So many warped and ill fitting parts. Foiling was like torture! lol Just could not make the operating tail gate line up. Hood seemed to fit well before paint. After paint? Oh well. Couldn't get all four wheels to touch the ground either. I was going to add a push bar for a bumper but I gave up on it. WF
David G.
The foil work looks great! Well worth the time and effort.David G.
Howard Cohen
Very nice! I have done a few of those, also the Impalas from 57/8/9/60...patience is the key

Snake45
Very nice indeed! I love the color--what's the paint?Dread of the chromework has caused me to put off building this one for a couple decades now....
Hmann68
Glad you stuck with it because it looks great! I've learned that a glass of wine while I do foil works wonders lol. Nice colors there too!

Foxer
Foiling a '59 Chevy is one of the most trying jobs as I have an Impala that's been waiting for 20 years to complete the foil. You did a fine job on this, and not just the foil!
6bblbird
Thanks for the kind replies! The paint was left over from a 1:1 project that a friend gave me. I don't know what it originally was. Sorry.WF
donb
Color combo, stance and foil work all look great. Nice job!
espo
Very nice looking. The colors set off the body lines well. This was from an era that GM couldn't seem to get enough chrome on their vehicles. I don't think that tail gate ever fit anyway so don't worry about it.
Slotto
If this kit fought you, you won in the end. Looks great and the foil work is my t fine. Nice color too.
StevenGuthmiller
Looks great Walter! But I have to say, you must not build many 50s cars! Foiling the '59 El Camino is a piece of cake compared to a '58 Buick or '59 Dodge! Nice work! Steve
geetee66
Yeah, that kit has some issues with fit and so-on, but it's a great looking model, when it's done! You proved that, with yours. My first experience with BMF was on one of these. A real baptism of fire!

peekay
One of my favorite kits despite its problems. And I reckon you did a foiling good job on the BMF.

bbowser
Great job on a less than stellar kit. You must have caught on to foiling a lot quicker than I did!
randyc
Looks great! Wait till you get to the REvell 67 Charger. Another foiling nightmare. LOL. You Elky looks great. I had one years ago and really loved how it came out.
