Chariots of Fire
Be on the lookout in the near future for this to be cast. Things are in progress as we speak. The chassis and tires and wheels are just for mockup to see how things sit. Castings will also include the front bumper, running boards, steering wheel and column. 1st 700 Quad
Sweet! So many fire trucks built on this chassis. I can't wait.

Russell C
I'd suggest a cowl-forward variant for those who want to do a school bus or Brinks-style armored truck.
leafsprings
Thanks for efforts Charles, the results are outstanding. I will definitely purchase a couple. This loadstar will help fill a void in the "classic" medium-heavy truck category left by the plastic people. These loadstars are very versatile, maybe a city tractor, stakebed, wrecker or 3 axle dump?. Can I interest you in doing a 60's 70's Chevy or GMC tilt cab next? Chariots of Fire
I don't know about that, Tommy. The IH fills a void for sure but the Chevy or GMC I might have to leave to someone else.
Rob Hall
The Jimmy Flintstone oil tanker body would probably go with this...as a kid in the 70s, I remember we had home heating oil delivered to the farm and it was delivered in a red Loadstar tanker w a sloped rear...Landmark Oil IIRC was the company. Dave Toups
That looks great! I'm surprised no one's ever done one before. The Loadstar was used for all sorts of things. Around here, it seemed like every other farm had at least one! Edited August 18, 2017 by Dave Toups
