Can you use the stock intake from a tripower

Recommended Posts

Josh... If you are willing to spend a little cash TDR has some Big Blocks which are 3D printed from Shapeways. Here is their link to their site, you will pay about 60 to 90 bucks depending on the material its printed in:

What I'm looking for is the 67 vette 427  engine coupe it's for

A project that Revell should have released but never did

69 Yenko Camaro 427 with tripower setup that is why I don't think

3-d printing would work I've researched it out has a munci 4 speed manual

Trans thanks for your help with this

No, the tri-carb BBC intake manifold will be too large/wide to fit properly on the SBC engine.

FYI, there is a fair amount of work needed to swap the 1/12 BBC into the 1/12 '69 Camaro. The 'Vette kit's exhaust manifold will not work, nor will the headers, so plan on making your own, either way. Radiator and fan shroud will need healthy modification, too.

This is why I didn't jump head first into the project couldn't

Anyway don't have the 427 to attempt the swap Jordan white

a member on here is doing the same thing so I'll see if he's

Successful doing it and if he runs into the problems you stated we know

Yenko Camaro's are Rare and z28's not as rare as 427 Camaro's thank you for your input

I've done the swap.

A lot of small things need to be addressed besides the larger more obvious ones if you want it to be accurate for a factory BB.  Like changing the heater box.  Big block Camaros used a different one than the one rendered in the kit.  I was able to use the Corvette headers, but heavily modified them and used the Camaro chambered exhaust.
