Howard Cohen
The 5th Annual Cobble Beach Concours was held this past weekend at the Cobble Beach Golf Club, 10 minutes north of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. Saturday morning started with about 100 cars taking a driving tour around Georgian Bay. While these cars were out, a Cars & Coffee event started, with another 100 plus cars. The main event, the Concours was Sunday, with more than 100 classic cars and motorcycles on display. FYI...all the cars were driven to the course and to win your class, your vehicle had to be driven across the awards stand, so yes, they do run Classes run from vintage race cars to motorcycles, brass era to muscle. misterNNL
Great photos Howard. Excellent clarity. What is the convertible with the 12 potholes in the front quarter panels? It is in your photos # 902 and # 903.

Pininfarina was refused entry to the 1946 Paris Auto Show because he was from Italy. In defiance, he took the car to the Paris Auto Show and parked it outside at the front door. This car won Best of Show plus a few other awards at the show. It was restored by 'The Guild' in Bradford, Ontario. Thanks for your inquiry. Howard Cohen
A side story...you can see the Pontiac Ambulance above. It is part of a group of owners called 'The Coasters' that drove across Canada this year and does every few years. They started in British Columbia on the west coast, drove to Newfoundland and are in the process of driving back to B.C. During their trip, they stop and visit various car collections and shows. The owner of the Ambulance was awarded the 'Canadian Car Hobby Person of the Year' for his long time support of the car hobby.
