    • Site Upgrade   11/18/2017

The Forums will be down, Friday, November 24th starting 8 AM PST for upgrade. We'll probably be down until 1PM PST, but it might be longer. I'm doing a major forum software upgrade, so I expect the forums to operate somewhat differently when we come back online.  Update: I've had a medical issue come up, and this window might not get used. If it doesn't, I'll push the maintenance back to Saturday, 2 December.

Anyone know where I can get a drive in diner tray in 1/25 scale?  No luck at the craft store or online.

I've seen one in a relatively recent kit, but don't recall *what* kit...

The "car hop" diner tray, with milk-shake glass, food, and soda glass, is in Revell 85-4295 '55 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop.  It is NOT in the convertible kit.

Randy, here are the window tray and burgers from the Revell (might've been branded Monogram most recently) 1/25 '55 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop kit:

Just a quick check on the Drastic Plastic instructions site, it appears that it was in both kits. I can say, though, that at least the '80s and newer issues of the hardtop do not have it. I have several of those, and have never seen the tray, or several of the other parts shown in the original, in it.
