landman
I had this old Porsche which was very dusty, was missing a wiper and a door handle and two wheels had fallen off. I had used it as a prop in the dio. Decided to clean it up, gave it a shot of clear to revive it, reinstalled the wheels, installed a modified KFS wiper and fabbed a door handle. Its engine was cleaned up, detailed and is going on display.
mecklm
Wow, what techniques did you use on the flywheel/clutch? It looks remarkably realistic. Oh, nice save on the rest of the car.
Foxer
I'm bringing my GTI that's in need of a great detailer to your shop!

The flywheel is a reduced photograph of the real thing.
aurfalien
Hi,This is BRIALLIANT!
mecklm
Hahaha, that certainly explains the realism. Very clever as you can't tell that it's only a 2d representation. Always enjoy how you place the subject car into your diorama to illustrate that it's being worked on. Mike

mecklm
Cool, the nuts add even more to the illusion. Well done! Mike
