Coming along nicely Ron.  You probably already know this ( I see you are planning on installing  a C-6) but I asked about the correlation with tall injectors and auto trans and here are the responses I received.

Thx for posting that, good stuff there. The tall injectors look cooler too.  :D

Thx for the comments guys!! I did a bunch more work on the Fairlane this weekend.

Made up some spark plug boots from WD-40 straws, and added a M.A.D. distributor and wire set.......

The front suspension is just about done, the front wheels are finally mounted. I do need to narrow the wheel backs, the track width is a bit too wide.

I love what you are doing with this one! I have collected parts to do this car simply because it was local to me ( Long Island) and I knew one of the owners. You finish yours first! lol

This one is going to be a bit different than the Prestone car. Stay tuned. :D

I like what you done on this build. The Altered Wheelbase Car were always my favorite funny cars.

Nice work Ron, looking good!

Wait till the car is painted and finished....those solder headers will look great.

Looking good Ron!

You know, I think what makes this one look really good is that you choose to not have chrome wheels!  Excellent choice, my opinion.

This car looks right.
