Watertown
Working on an old Monogram ’69 GTO kit, as I'd like to build a replica of one I had back in high school. The problem is that the kit comes with the hidden headlight grille, and the headlights on mine were the static open (exposed) style. Does anybody know of a resin conversion for this? (Example here)

Thanks, Mike, Joseph at Fireball had a couple sets still on the shelf. I ordered them and should have 'em in a couple weeks. Appreciate the referral. mchalal
here's one I've got on the workbench along with about 2 dozen other in process projects. I'm not quite sure where I got the headlight conversion pieces. I know I got them on ebay.
VRM
Did anybody ever do one in 1/25th for the original MPC kits? Edited November 2, 2017 by VRM
Snake45
Did anybody ever do one in 1/25th for the original MPC kits?Don't think so. I believe you could make such, though, by cloning the headlights from the '69 Firebird kit. Unfortunately, I think those would be a little small for the 1/24 Monogram GTO, but I might give it a try anyway just to see.
Watertown
Nice! I'm adding a vinyl top to mine, along with the missing cowl trim.

Looks like you have the same problem that I do, I can't seem to finish one project before beginning another... Geno
The 1/24 Testors diecast kit has it. I'm building one of those as The Punisher GTO.
