Decals from my big decal folder. The vague plan was that it was an eighties Pro Street car which had been freshened up with a new motor. If I had to drive from sea to shining sea then I can't think of a better way to do it than in a big comfortable car with a huge donk.Pro Lux 1 by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr Edited November 28, 2017 by zenrat

MeatMan
My entry is a 2006 Camaro, to which I added an LS V-12 engine. I fabricated the coil covers, and wired the plugs to the coils. The tranny is a T-56 five speed. I used Viper fenders to create the wide-body look in the rear, and styrene in the front. The spoiler is from the C5R kit. The front fascia has been heavily modified to open the grille up and give it a more modern look. I added a fuel cell, and externally plumbed it, and added an additional filler cap to keep the fumes out, and speed refueling, and an automated fire extinguiser. The exhaust system is custom built from solder, with fabricated mufflers, and I also added huge 14” brake rotors. It’s hard to see but that is Brock Yates on the tablet screen in the interior shot. He has his hands on two cars and is standing in front of a Cannonball Run banner. Nuff yakin’, lets roll!
Lunajammer
Corvette ZR-1 proof of concept research vehicle. Modified to be a mobile platform for a Nitrous Turbolene Generator, the highly volatile and hypothetical fuel additive that can expand fuel milage and efficiency many time over in a conventional internal combustion engine. Chief research lab is Yates Technologies, with generous sponsorship from other technology funds and the Science Channel. AMT Corvette • Nose modified with 64 Riviera grill • Nascar rims on kit tires • Home made decals • Cabin includes two very important technological doo-hickeys (it's an industry term). oldcarfan
Not too good, but, I'm happy to have finished something this year! My entry, a grandma gold ex-police Chevy Impala. Though it is only the snap kit Revell, the 1:1 car would be fitted with a suite of electronics for evasion and detection, the turbocharged version of GMs 3.8 liter V6 and plenty of lights for night use. If you will notice, the window glass is missing, due to my apparently putting it in a place that I would be sure to know where it was. I have know idea where that place is.
