jeff f
I finally made up my mind on the injection bases . They will mount to the intake surface of the heads leaving the lifter valley cover exposed . The AMT metal stacks are too tall for this car so I'll make some out of 3/32 tube . Everyone have have a wonderful Thanksgiving . Jeff .
Joca
Great machinery pieces Jeff. May I know what you use, a Sherline maybe?
Codi
Now those are cool Jeff. I really like how you did those and know the bit of effort that it took to make them even more so considering their size. VERY nice. Cheers, Tim
jeff f
Thank you Joao and Tim , I use a Bridgeport with X Y nc programs . The bases were too large , downsized and made new parts . no big deal , gave the first ones to a friend . Jeff .
mike 51
You might google fuel injected Y block Fords....The heads have unusual intake porting...stacked instead of inline as you have them. not a big deal but it surprised me when I researched Hilborn injected Y-blocks. add...google "Battle bird" Thunderbird. jeff f
Got the new smaller base pieces done , finished the intricate porting for the over under intake ports . I made stacks out of K&S 3/32 tube . No they are not rivets . Slowly getting there . Thanks for looking in Jeff .
