Citroen DS19

Gorgeous. Didn't know these had the spare wheel packaged at the front.

The exhaust routing is convoluted with a muffler/resonator in the engine bay.

Headlamps are yellow, like a proper French car. Did you tint the lenses or they came like that?

Great looking build of a somewhat unusual subject. I had an opportunity to ride in one around 1960 or so. I got in and we had to wait for the Air Ride Suspension to compensate for me being in the car before we could drive off. The ride was smoother than anything I had ever been in at that time. I always thought they were ahead of their time.

The lenses are clear I tinted them from the inside with Tamiya clear yellow

I love it!

Can't believe it took this long to get a DS19 in 1:24 scale.

Considering how important the car is not only to France, but to automotive history in general, It really took quite a while.

I''m happy they did the early one, and not the ones with the hideous headlights. Not taking into account the Facel Vega, I think this is the coolest French car.
