Slotto
This started out in life as a 4x4 push toy with a wrestling figure hanging out the driver side window. When I saw It marked down to $6 at Ollies, I had to have it. From the very moment I saw it, I pictured this as a slammed cruiser with big modern wheels. This was the best $6 I've ever spent. The wheels came from a die cast and they do roll. I had to scratch build a chassis which proved to be a challenge for the rear wheels if I wanted to get them to roll. They are very w i d e. Thanks for looking.

iamsuperdan
Cool looking van? Two questions, roughly what scale is it? Have any "before" pics?
Ace-Garageguy
Definitely cool. Still recognizable as a BugBus, but looks like it might have a Lambo in the woodpile somewhere. Nice conversion.

There weren't any build pics other than the one I took before I dismantled her... It was pretty straight forward as far as the chassis goes. Just tuck the wheels up under and measure out some sheet styrene as a base then glue some axle supports in place. On 12/18/2017 at 9:17 AM, iamsuperdan said: Cool looking van? I know what you mean about the Lambo comment. I can see it in the doors. I love this quick little build. The two pictures are like night and day. Hard to believe it's the same VW. I probably have no more than 10 hours into it. The stickers were a bugger to remove. I'm really happy with her. It's the best $6 I've ever spent. They are still out there. Check Ollies or maybe even Amazon. Look for wwe raging racers rumble van. They came in white and gray. Thanks everyone for all the positive comments!
