Luc Janssens
Revell doesn't have a Dodge Ram kit tool other than the old VTS show truck from the 90s. They are simply reissuing what they have. I know Rob, but still odd Revell Germany releasing a model of a pickup rarely seen on European roads, but again the situation could be different around (former) US military installations. It kinda reminds me of the '90s when GM was marketing and selling Pontiac Firebirds here, while Revell Germany was re-boxing Revell USA Camaro's.... Seems like an interesting piece.
Junkman
Seems like just a standard highway department snow plow truck...probably in use all over Germany (modern ones today, the Revell kit is about 30 years old). There are still surprisingly many 435s left in public service. As has been mentioned earlier, the initial investment is high, but they can last for ages. All municipal vehicles in Germany are painted RAL 2011 Kommunalorange. disabled modeler
It was factory sealed from a shop...they would not take it back or exchange it for another one. Its a very nice kit and Id like to be able to build it...it has a high level of detail and realistic looking.Missing from the factory or a private seller? Seems like an interesting piece. I also see that they’re bringing back out the 1997 F150 kit, hopefully it’s the regular cab version this time! It's a release with light and sound. Mike999
I've been wrestling with a Unimog snow plow for...well, a long time. They're not common in the USA but some do get imported, especially to mountainous, snow-heavy states like Oregon and Washington. Pic below of one with Montana plates. And here's a link to the Unimog Exchange, where you can find tons of reference material. I even found some good detail photos of a used Schmidt snowplow like the one in the kit, and I think they came from that site. http://www.unimog.net/exchange/
Rob Hall
Unimogs are neat. I'd love to see a kit of the older '60s-70s version like I have Matchboxes of. There was a specialist shop outside Castle Rock, Colorado that imported used Unimogs and Pinzagauers..I remember visiting there with a buddy mine back in 1999-2000 ... went for a ride in one. The only other 1/24th scale Unimog that I'm aware of is the one by Lassen project. Sadly it tanked, too bad cuz the next version was on the design table.... Rob Hall
A 406 would make a neat kit. Edited February 8, 2018 by Rob Hall

I have an affinity for vintage "tough trucks" of any national origin. A local fellow owns a Unimog. He sometimes picks up his child from Sunday school with it.
