1/12 Italeri '68 Fiat 500F

I'm sure that will be super pricey, but dang that looks nice! I love the detail they put in along with all the features (opening doors, steering, suspension, etc.)! It's too bad Tamiya wasn't this detailed when they released their Mini Cooper.

Looks like about $150 U.S. on average. Not bad considering what you get.

I bought mine for 95 euro's.

I was a bit reluctant in buying the kit, but when I got home and went through the box, it's ok. It's definately not a Tamiya, but Italeri did a good job capturing the little giant.

But a lot of extra detail has to be given into the model for making it stand out.

That little character was known as the Fiat Bambina in our market.

I remember being  taught to drive in one way back in the 60s and thinking I'd never learn the coordination of steering the car and working the stick shift at the same time.

Yet they were more spacious on the inside, than one might think from the outside. I was quite surprised by that.

I'll see if I can make some pictures of the contents tomorrow.

Now all we need is them making a kit half the size.

Tamiya already did a nice 500 (and an Abarth version) in 1/24th, so there really isn't need for another, I would think...

If I can get one cheap enough, I may go for it. I remember when they were new. This kit looks great form the pics, and I do have some other 1/12 builds on the shelf.
