curb
I have the Clear Cougar body (unfortunately painted Yellow. I tried to strip the paint off but was only partly successful )and it has the Roof Hatch... The MK Kenz & Leslie Cougar FC's body resembles that of the Eddie Schartman Cougar as shown. My guess is the Dyno Don Cougar FC will be reissue of the Model King K&L Cougar FC..which would have the incorrect hood scoop opening for one thing. Daddyfink
Why are they molding it in color? I hope they follow up with the Schartman car that is molded in white!!
russosborne
When? I need to be there when they hit the shelf. Russ

To come close to the original which was molded in red would be my guess. Probably figure some people will just leave the body the molded color, apply the decals, and done, too. Did the real car have pearlescent paint? Edited March 30, 2018 by Casey
High octane
I thought that I would want one, until I saw that it will be molded in red. Oh well, I really do have enough to build anyway.
russosborne
Red is fine with me. I plan on buying a few or more. I honestly would like 10-12, but I won't be able to buy that many at one time. Hoping they won't sell out the first week. I might even get a woodburner and build one the way I did as a kid. Motor through the roof. Just for nostalgia's sake. Hyrdo dipping the body shell after it's polished might work. I doubt the lace decals are going to be all that convincing, but admittedly, it's a difficult detail to pull off successfully. Glad to see this one back, warts and all.
gtx6970
As much as I like vintage drag cars . I may just pass on this one,,,or at the most I may get one of these. I already have maybe 3 or 4 of the model king issues and Ive never touched even one of them yet. and how long have they been out .

Snake45
I'll buy at least one, even though I already have two unbuilt Cougar funnies. (Or is it three?)
Bucket T
I have a few of the Model King issues as well but will add this to my to-do list. I like the old straight-liners.
stavanzer
Is this the kit that has the Model A Radiator Shell on the Chrome tree? I remember reading that one of the Cougar Funny Car kits did.

iBorg
I hope whoever buys it will post the decals. I've got several of the MK reissues as well as the Slixx decals. If I buy it, its for the decals.

Chuck Kourouklis
Funny. Already have a M/K white one with the truck. I'll be getting this one exactly because it's molded in color.

mk11
Another alternative for a stock chassis and engine bay aside from modified '67 mustang parts would be the '73 cougar parts... http://wwwboard2.spotlighthobbies.com/cgi-bin/bbs62x/webbbs_config.pl?md=read;id=204610 mike Edited March 29, 2018 by mk11
