Peterbilt 353 Off-Road Dumper

Recommended Posts

This is one of my early conversions. I built it still without the www only with a limited number of pictures from books, therefore I think the model is more than 15 years old.

I used at least three different kits from AMT, Revell and Italeri and many parts of my spares box. The dump box is scratch built.

It looks Awesome!! The color is perfect!! Excellent work on the bed too!! Top notch all around!!!

Were did you get the drive tires?

When I built the model some older Italeri truck kits still had styrene tires. My rear tires came from one of these old kits. I "regrooved" them to replicate off-road treads.
