Warren D
Biggest thing is more light and at a lower angle, especially in the front.
afx
I prop up a piece of white poster board behind the subject. Helps the camera to focus and hides all the clutter in the background.

Your image also has a "cool" blue tint to it, which can be adjusted, depending upon... What are you taking the pictures with for starters? 5 hours ago, afx said: I prop up a piece of white poster board behind the subject. disconovaman
I really like the progress you're making on the truck and l like seeing lots of Chrome and or polished aluminum on Rusty/weathered rides. It's a trend that caught on during the "Ratrod" phase and still remains popular. I started building this kit and desided I wanted the top chopped but unfortunately I made the cuts in the wrong place which has stalled the project. I set up a totally white back ground for my pics (picture for attention) but any progress pics work, I enjoy seeing them. "Keep Hammering Away" Thanks
Day 2 Muscle
OK, so I added some light to my work area, sure does make a difference in what the camera see!! I agree on the plain background for completed model pics, but I like the "in the shop look" for WIP's. Thanks for the help. Robert
