Woody

Don’t post much, but have been busy building.Here’s the Woody I’m working on. Custom baby blue paint I mixed up and cleared with duplicolor paint shop clear

Looking good. Im doing the exact model myself. Here is where i am at so far.

 

What direction are you planning to go with this?

Nice start on this car. I really like how the wood came out.

Excellent wood look to your sides as the real cars used mostly clear grained panels for the sides.

Superb!

Very nice, crisp, clean work so far.

The wood grain looks nice & the powder blue color is a fantastic choice for this car.

Factory stock?

Thanks guys. The inserts are the decals that came with the kit I used micro sol and micro set to place them. The outer wood color is model masters wood color sprayed through airbrush

Update on the woody. Got the frame done. Lowered it a bit interior done also

Great looking build so far. You did a perfect job getting the decals to lay down, when I built mine I had to use so much Solvaset  that the decals started to come apart and they still wouldn't lay down. The Blue gives the car a different look, I like it.  Salinas, I used to live up 101 from you in Prundale of Crazy Horse Canyon Road. I sure miss that part of the world.

Yup. Born and raised. My parents live in Prunedale near crazy horse. Nice and quiet out there
