Hammerdown Posted February 1, 2018 (edited) Two more replicas completed. Using my digital photo construction technique which consists of me photographing all the surfaces of the real truck, then scaling the photos to 1/43 scale and cutting out all the parts from the photographs. Then gluing all the parts together onto a plastic chassis and fully lit with micro lights. Finished product is basically a 3D photo replica. Hammerdown Posted April 5, 2018 (edited) Rick you are right. Using my technique you can build any truck as long as you can get the photos to work with. Sergey, I try to complete the models with a full complement of lights, including headlights, clearance and brake lights. On the Western Star with the refer, that totaled 97 lights.
